HP Case Study – Rethinking R&D Spaces for Innovation and Growth
Faced with growing spatial demands and shifting technological needs, HP’s R&D team required more than just expansion – they needed a rethink of how their work environment supported innovation. Through a series of creative, hands-on engagements, including Lego prototyping workshops with engineers, we helped them reimagine their space as part of a broader ecosystem. The result was a state of art space specifically designed for active collaboration across HP engineering and R&D groups, customers, and partners, the new facility integrates flexible and interactive layouts, co-development environments, The approach proved so effective it was adopted as a model for future projects across HP’s global R&D locations.

Case Study: Co-locating Four Research Entities into a Tier 1 Central London Workplace
Faced with the challenge of uniting four distinct research teams into a single, high-quality central London workspace, this project called for more than just spatial efficiency—it demanded a sensitive, human-centred approach to change. By combining strategy, design, and change management, we delivered a fully co-created solution grounded in the everyday realities of academics, researchers, and support staff. Through structured engagement, iterative design, and clear communication, the project achieved a 90% satisfaction rate post-occupancy and has since become a benchmark for future initiatives across the university.

Case Study: LIHE – A Collaborative Space for Health Tech Innovation
Focussed on shaping a new home for pioneering start-ups and SMEs in medical technology, the challenge was to create a space that could evolve alongside emerging business models while aligning a diverse set of stakeholder visions. Through an iterative, co-creative process and a structured three-stage milestone framework, we distilled complex inputs into a clear, flexible workplace concept. The result is a collaborative, future-ready environment that supports innovation, avoids decision paralysis, and positions LIHE as a dynamic hub for health tech growth.
We integrate business and team inputs to create a people-centred workplace design that
aligns data, culture, and business goals.

Holistic Workplace Strategy and User Experience Design
We take a holistic perspective, seamlessly integrating space, technology, and the user’s experiential journey to create environments that are both engaging and effective. Our approach combines data-driven insights with deep empathy for the people who use the space. We listen carefully, observe thoughtfully and translate iteratively those experiences into actionable strategies. By aligning user needs with business objectives, we help transform the workplace into one of clients’ most valuable assets — adaptable, meaningful, and fit for purpose. Whether navigating complexity, aligning diverse stakeholders’ needs, or supporting teams through change, we bring clarity and focus to every stage of the process.
Structured approach for unique results
We take a structured project approach based on a deep understanding of business challenges. We recognise that each project’s requirements are different, and our services are tailored to our clients’ bespoke needs. The services we offer can be undertaken independently of each other.
Our approach is iterative and considers previous experience, trends and companies’ unique talent. We develop the best-selected scenario to the concept design level and oversee the detailed design and construction stages, keeping the brief in mind. To ensure the quality of project support, we suggest conducting a post-occupancy evaluation within nine months of space occupation.
